Welcome to the Emerging Circuits and Computation (ECC) Group

The group consists of Mustafa Altun and his students in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. In terms of research, we focus on circuit design and computing models for emerging nanoscale technologies, namely computational nanoelectronics. We also have a special interest in mathematical combinatorics and analog circuit design. In terms of teaching, we offer courses spanning from digital/analog circuit design to computational nanoelectronics.

Group news and activities

  • We will present our work "Computation with Regular Arrays of Nano Switches" in ICCMNM 2013.
  • We offer a new graduate course: Computational Nanoelectronics, Fall 2013.
  • We have weekly group meetings with catchy presentations; you are welcome to join!
  • Our group is growing fast; now we have two sub-groups studying on the areas of computational nanoelectronics and electronics reliability.

Interested in joining our group?

  • Research projects available for graduate students on the following topics:
    • Computational nanoelectronics.
    • Nanoscale circuit design.
    • Reliability of electronic components and systems.
  • Graduation projects available for undergraduate students on the following areas:
    • Nanoelectronics.
    • Circuit design.
