Weeks 4, 4/3/2024 & 5/3/2024 Basics of Microfabrication, PN junction in equilibrium, PN junction under reverse and forward bias, body resistance and parasitic capacitance. Physical structure of Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT), Operating regions of BJT.
Week 5, 11/3/2024 & 12/3/2024 Diode models, diode circuits, small signal model of the diode, Rectifiers, DC power supplies, Zener Diode, regulator circuits.
Weeks 6, 18/3/2024 & 19/3/2024 DC biasing of BJT circuits and small signal models. Physical structure of MOSFET.
